that is reminscent of pu-erh in flavor, earthy and nutty. Wu Long tea is known for
its anti-inflammatory properities in addition to its effect on adipose (fat) tissue
metabolism. Each Wu Long tea bag makes 2-3 cups of tea.

Our teabags come from southern Fujian's mountains where a unique combination
of climate, altitudes, and soil conditions produce our Wulong's exceptional character.
Wu long tea leaves undergo partial fermentation, a crucial step that creates its
rich flavor and amber tint.
We fly our teabags monthly after having them bagged fresh in China so the potency
of your tea remains strong. Tea often turns old, especially bagged teas, from sitting
in warehouses. Our teas are custom ordered each time and bagged to our discerning
tastes.
We procure our wu long whole leaf and manufacture teabags with premium qualilty
tea. Lower priced teas often have been sitting on shelves for months or even years,
and reduces the potency of the tea. However, unless specifically teas of specialty
grades, teas priced much higher than ours do not necessarily mean higher quality.
In fact, most of the teas being sold as Wulong is of the lowest grade variety found
from Wuyi Shan China.
We offer fair prices without compromising on quality, purchasing our teas from the
finest growers in Fujian, China.
Wu Long tea is a variety of tea prized by the Chinese for the delicate taste and
artisan skill required to produce its subtle flavor. Although by some it may be
considered a fusion of green tea and black tea, its taste is something all together
unique.
The nature of the Wu Long tea process requires experienced Wu Long producers to
stop the fermentation where they believe the best flavor may be achieved via manual
roasting.
